How do I book a charter?  Great question. Simply click here: 'How to Book' for all the answers....

Why are boat charters expensive?  Fair question. Simply put: boat maintenance and repair costs, fuel consumption and crew costs. Oh yes, insurance, website, equipment, fishing licenses, captain licenses, dock maintenance, piling replacements, marketing costs.....

Where are you located? We are located in the Londontowne part of Edgewater Maryland, which is 5 miles south of Annapolis, 30 miles south of Baltimore and 31 miles east from Washington D.C: 1444 Shore Drive, Edgewater, MD 21037. Here are Directions.

Can we park close by? Yes. We have front-in parking right by the marina. Please park tight. Please don't park on the street as neighborhood stickers are required. They tow...

Is there music aboard? Absolutely! We have a blue tooth speaker available that you can relocate on deck. If you really need volume, we have a Soundbox and we'll anchor in a secluded anchorage - the crew deserve a big tip :-0)....

THE RELAXING EXCITEMENT OF THE ISLANDS - ON THE CHESAPEAKE!What about Life Jackets & Safety Equipment? All required USCG safety equipment is available onboard: life jackets (we have all sizes - you can bring your own but they must be Type-I or Type-II USCG approved), fire extinguishers, sound producing devices, radios, rules of seamanship, life rings, as well as navigation charts, cruising guide, GPS and navigation tools, binoculars, traveling set of dock lines and tow lines, basic tool kits and first-aid kit.

How many people can come? Bring up to a total of 6 guests per boat and 12 guests for a 'Sail and Powerboat!' raft-up party experience; crew does not count in these numbers. Babies, infants, kids and adolescents are counted as they are guests.

Can we steer the boat? The sailboat, yes. You can even help hoist the sails (please!) Powerboat, no - insurance stipulation.

What should we bring Byob! Picnic basket, cooler, sunscreen, towels, after-sun lotion, wear non-marking rubber sole shoes, bring your signed Crewed Charter Agreement & Waiver. 

What should we wear? Wear non-marking rubber sole shoes and dress comfortably. Don't forget swimwear! 

What about Ice? We have a small supply of drinking ice, so it's best you bring a cooler (not heavy please).

Is Alcohol allowed? Yes, you can bring your own bottle! Only plastic containers are allowed aboard. With certain charters, we store alcohol below and serve it to you as you request. Please keep wine and beer bottles very secure. See our Alcohol Policy here

Are utensils & plates aboard? We have a small supply. While you may bring your own plastic items, please be note that glasswares are not allowed for safety reasons.

Can you help cater? Possibly - please call us.

Can we tip the crew? It is appreciated - they work hard on your cruise (and there is a lot of preparation and decommissioning too).

Can you pick us up or drop us off? Maybe.... depends on distance (counted within the charter), fuel premium, depth around the dock location, getting permission to dock...

Can you take us to a dock bar and restaurant? Yes, but generally dock bars and restaurants work on a first come - first served basis both docking and getting served; generally, they don't take reservations. Bottom line: there are no guarantees...

Will we see ospreys? Yes. There is a nest about 30 yards from our dock and essentially every channel marker on the South River hosts a nest too!

Can I rent a boat without a captain? No. We never do bare-boat rentals.

Can you take our photographs? Yes. We take 'incidental' photographs during our charters and use them on our website. If you do not want any pictures of you taken or used, please let us know at the beginning of your charter.  There is a waiver included in the Cruise Charter Agreement. Please feel free to ask our crew to take pictures of you on your own cameras. We can also give you photos, and videos and drone footage too - it helps our marketing when you show your friends, family and co-workers!
